Wow are they the legal one's? They look awesome, especially with the ABT tuning surround for it, can you put a pic up when you have put it on the car? Can't wait to see it :D

Yep 100% legal, although saying that i'll probably end up being pulled anyway haha, just my luck. Yeah looking forward to putting the surrounds on them, which haven't arrived yet but only ordered this morning. I'd definatly recommend the Dubmeister plates though, quality is brilliant and they don't half look good! I'll put a picture up when they are on mate, have you had any luck with the bulbs yet?

haha probably, yer I was looking on their site the other day and was loving everything lol! Especially the german looking show plates :) Yer I did get the lights thanks, I got philips X-treme, they don't give the blue tint but they are so bright and the light is pristine white, they are really good especially when on full beam :)

I want to get some sidelights now because I didn't get the sidelights thrown in after all lol, I think I just want ice white side lights! :)

Good to hear you like the headlights, I'm surprised they didn't included the side lights (mine did!). I put them in the parents car though but might swap them for my girls lupo ones haha. Got my plate surrounds today but not opened them up, looking forward to fitting to the front but the back is going to be a right s**t, either use the surround or just wait for a warm day to trim tape them to the car.

Try the prism ones from halfords for sidelights, they are LED and look really nice.

Cool! Will have a look on their website for those :)

Yer the numerplates do look awesome in the surrounds! Very Euro :D got anything else planned with the car apart from the awesome dash conversion? :)

Fitted my plate surrounds and plates to the car today, had a nightmare with the rear as the threads on the screw points where buggered. I had to get a set of nut and bolts to fix the surround to the car, but its held very well. The trim tape couldn't hold them on so I had to resort to using the surrounds, however it might be because the weather (raining in day, frost at night). I'm liking the look of the front but not too sure on the rear, but as mentioned just, I don't really have much choice at the moment. Car is filty and I really need to wash and polish it, but with the weather the way it is I reckon it'll be like this for another couple of weeks :( Upside is i'm now trying to get parts for my dash conversion

Anyway a few pics of the car with the surrounds and legal pressed plates on :)

Sweet! Haven't had a chance to see your tints properly yet mate, nice.

Plates look great, not keen on either surround. If your in doubt of the rear one use foam tape mate, it's much better than the trim tape stuff.

This stuff man:

Cheers man, yeah I think i'm going to try to fit the rear without the surround and put it on the front of the lupo instead. The trim tape was fine on my badges etc, just didn't seem to hold in the slightest on the plate though?!?

Gave it a clean and took some pictures, nothing special just an overview for those who've not seen it recently hehe. Still need to polish the lips on the RXii's and blacken up the tyres, but it'll do for now :) I'm surprised how well its come up, especially as its not been wash in about a month and hasn't been waxed/polished in about 3. This is using 1 bucket too, as i'm at my parents house today :)

Anyways here's the pics

Yep afaid so :(

Hopefully get a set of fogs for the front when I sort out this dash conversion and when I get both bumpers repsprayed I'll touch up a couple of rust area's. Thinking about sourcing a smoothed front bumper with the small grills smoothed out but don't have a lot of cash at the moment so i'll have to see and want to get this dash conversion out of the way first :D

Car looks so good :)
I was thinking about blackening my tyres but have no idea what stuff to get, there is so much out there, like sprays etc, but I want something long lasting! Any ideas? The numerplate at the front looks really good but at the back IMO it does look a bit weird because it is really close to the boot handle, but otherwise does look good :D still really want your wheels lol

I use Turtlewax Tyre Gel, its in a bright green bottle with a back cap. Works really well and lasts about a month and a half. Yeah i'm going to keep the front surround but i'm going to remove the rear, its only temporary for now as I haven't got any more tape. Easy to get Rxii's mate, they are all over the ClubPolo for sale section.
