Apart from that it looks stunning man. I think you need to get me some once my original plate comes and get rid of the private plate. Yo Raz this car is nearly complete man it looks better and better every day. When your gonna lower it again let me know we'll both work on it. It was great fun last time. Any time you need help geeze give us a shout.

yeahh, you know the roundabout off the a406 ilford exit between redbridge and barking. that one is sikk to go around. ill definetly take u there

higher.they are 6k.. the ballast will support 6k bulbs.

what if you berought a 8000k kit would you be able to put 6000k bulbs in them? what made you use them with the gti lights was it cuz they came with them or/and because are they illegal in standard 6n2 headlights because of the projector not putting the correct beam pattern out for an M.O.t, thanks for your help again mate.

the K is only a colour rating - it makes no difference to the bulb. Its still a 35W HID at the end of the day. 6000k bulbs are better in the GTI headlights as its a crisper blue and provides a better overall light. Theres a grey area of legality with standard kits - i ran them in mine for ages, and have them in my current mk3 and have no problems, but it depends on the quality of the kit, and how they have been installed to ensure the beam pattern and safety.

o right so its pot luck it dont seem a hard job to change them back tho before m.o.t just to make sure is it, i still aint found a front splitter lol there fetching 50 odd quid from the dealers i rang them 1 day just to see, i was soon saying i'll get back to you on that 1 lol (not)

Mine passed mot no problems! only thing was he said to change the LED sidelights but then he said ahh what the hell keep em on lol.. If you want me to do the splitter, i dont mind. but its damn cold now! lol

lol it will probably be by next summer before i find 1 at this rate should do pattern parts surely there only worth 20 quid mass produced. how much would a car be worth if we brought every part separate from the dealers lol, yer but the gti headlamps come standard with them were as my type dont so might pass hopefully if get some, he couldn't be arsed to get his hand stuck between the battery changing ur bulbs raz lol.
