Dashboard has stopped illuminating, help?

Hi,

When you turn your lights on usually the dashboard illuminates so you can read your speedo, oil temp, fuel level etc, but this has suddenly stopped working so when your driving along at night you don't really know the exact speed your doing which can be troublesome.

Has anyone else had the same problem? If so is there an easy fix?

may be a silly one but have you knocked the little adjuster wheel by the headlight switch?

No, that just dims and brightens the dashboard, but usually all the interior lights up when you put your headlights on, eg the heating controls etc, they are all off too so the interior is completely dark when you're driving in the dark. It's a bit strange. Might be a dashboard out job.
