Hi all,

Does anyone know the offset of the GT alloys I have been told that they are bbs montreal II's,

I have got ET38 in my head but that it probably wrong lol

I have 16" alloys and they are et38 I am sure the gt was also this offset.

Should be fine depending on width of the wheel

Sweet they are 205 wide which is the same as standard so they should be ok (fingers crossed lol)

I'm running 7.5x17 et32 Audi S3 rims with 205/40 Yokohama Parada Spec2.

On a 9N it need some space at the back. I have some 11mm spacer lined up to go on mine. The front is fine.

For 7.5 et30/et20 is a general rule of thumb.

Ah right i see,

I've just checked and the width is 8J so 8", do you reckon that will be ok?

What do you reckon the best tyre to run on those would be to get good but not too much stretch?

I think that they reccomend 215's standard but abviously there not stretched.

So an 8" rim is 0.5" wider so sticks out 0.25" inwards and outwards. ie. around 6mm. Going on the offsets that work for 7.5" I'd say et36 front (though you'd get away with up to et25 if you push it). The rears would work ok upto et25.

As for tyres on an 8 you could go 205/40 easily. Some brands stretch better than others. Toyos are a good bet. I preferred the T1Rs I had to the Yokohamas I now have. In terms of grip and looks.

Depending on how low you want to go I think 195/40 would work best but you need to nail the height really. 205 probs ok for a daily.

yeah the standard GT alloys are BBS Montreal IIs they have the following fitment

205/45/16

also got my spare set for sale if anyones after some, will swap for vRS alloys though.
