Ive only seen these in 5x120 fitment. The adaptors for them cost alot....alot more than other adaptors.

RC's have an offset of around 35. which means they are a no. unless you could weld them up and redrill them to 5x100.

Adapters are 20mm so the new offset would be 15, they will stick out too much

They'd go from ET35 to ET15 though, which I would think may _just_ fit inside the arch? Unless those wheels are replicas on the other Polo?

With serious stretch and camber they could fit.

Adaptors dont affect handling. People add 20mm hubsentric spacers on the rear of polos, ibizas and fabia VRS to improve handling. Only difference is your going from 1 stud pattern to another.

For BMW adaptors there was a second hand set going for £250. Unles you know some1 who could make you some up.

RC041 are et41 5x120. So 15mm adapters will take that to et26.

That should work ok. Esp. with 195/40x17.
