Cheers dude,

Nah not had chance to weld it up yet because i've not been back to my uni house, but hope to get it done sometime tomorrow. Going to be welding it using the soldering iron and plastic rod technique hehe, think I might have to do it outside ha.

No more progress on dash right now, i'm still trying to find out how to get past the canbus issue on the clocks, i've got a theory but need someone with ELSA to check it for me. Once I know that it'll work, i'll start it. Only reason i've done this 8V smooth front bumper was because I had all the tools to do it, otherwise I don't think i'd of bothered!

Nothing really more to update at the moment, however lets just say a silver 6n2 GTi could be on the cards very soon...

A new project.

Four new tyres needed for the RXii's, went for Toyo T1-Rs in the end.

More expense!

Tyres now fitted, all I can say is WOW what an improvement a fresh set of rubber can do. Paid £180 fitted for all four, probably one of the best investments so far, ride is now stiffer, grip is silly and the steering wheel doesn't move at all when let go.

Indeed, saying that the rears were bald ha! If i'd of been pulled i'd of got 12 points (3 points a corner), these toyo's are great though.

Awesome. It's getting pretty heavy again down here.

I would take pics of mine, but all you'd see is a pile of dirt grit and salt in the shape of my car  Literally the dirtiest it has ever been!

Just ordered a new festoon LED for the interior, gone for cool white which I think should make a nice difference to the amber coloured halogen in it at the moment. No major updates really, just saving money for my GTi come the summer :)
