Waiting List??

Hello ppl,
just wondering how long the current waiting list is for a new car.
i ordered my Twist on the 18/03/2004 and its 8 weeks on and i havent received a phonecall or letter from my dealer yet!

i opted for colour pack, alarm and front fogs... whats the maximum waiting time, anyone?

8 weeks ain't so long. I ordered my Polo in October last year. 2 weeks before delivery my dealer called me up to tell me it was ready first week of January.

It took 12 weeks for my car to arrived and that was last month.

The only extra options were pearl paint and 16 inch Alloys. It took them 3 weeks to get a build date.

I would just keep phoning them to see if anything has come through on the computer. They should be able to tell you what stage it is at.

picking up my new twist on sunday. thats 10 weeks 3 days of waiting!!

bought insurance with elephant on tues morning and 1st class mail took 2 days to arrive. thats thursday afternoon!

just in time to give to the dealer so he can tax it!.

bank holiday monday too so if i couldnt get it taxed on fri, ill have to wait for another few days!

cant wait!!!!

My girlfriend waited 12 weeks for her car, during which we never recieved one phone call from the dealer, when the car arrived it was the wrong model and then it took them another 2 weeks to locate the correct car. The best thing was I complained to the manager about the complete lack of service so I got petrol, mats and 1st service free but when we eventually picked up the car they said mats were on back order. Now eight weeks later got so peeved talking to the stupid woman who sold us the car we went straight to the parts department and they said we have plenty and have done for a good while!

i had factory options too.
alarm, colour pack and front fogs.
