Crazy gauge
Crazy gauge
My temperature gauge is going mad, it climbs to 50 odd then goes up and down before suddenly jumping to the temp it always sits at, 90.
Is the thermostat f****d?

Re: Crazy gauge
No, thats just the temperature sender. Get a new one (about 25 quid) from a dealer (do NOT get a cheap replacement as they suck!) and all is well.

Re: Crazy gauge
Unplug the connector - it should be green plastic. Take a pic if in doubt and ill show you where it is.
Re: Crazy gauge
yeah can see the green bit, facing diagonally up, back in towards the the bulk. how is it held in?
Re: Crazy gauge
its held in with a horse shoe clip, dont break it whatever you do, that guide should tell you what to do! if i remember correctly it pulls towards you
