Re: The GTI! - Alex's Progress Thread - MOT TODAY!

Post by alexperkins »

Well, big day today. The car will be back on the road in approx 2 hours and counting!

MOT is booked, and there *should* be no advisories or anything whatsoever!

Reason for all this is the Mk3 has a rather serious fuel line leak, and it absolutely stinks of fuel when you are driving along, so to fix it, I need another car as the parts need to be ordered in and take a few days :(

Oh well...happy days!

Well I have already changed something :P

New instrument cluster cover...mine was scratched, and the underside mount was damaged, so ive taken it out, and replaced it with a nice new one courtesy of Darren :)

Tomorrow going to order new ARB bushes and the other half of the pipe that goes into the undertray, seeing as mine one appears to be missing!
