GTI - info about new bushes and loosy gearknob

Post by GANA »

Hello from Greece,

My GTI 6N2 after 75,000km needs new bushes,

poweflex ones are said to create vibarations in the cabin so better to avoid.
Could somebody please advise the part No of the cupra solid bushes?
Is the correct part form the 98-2002 ibiza or the next model?
Should S3/TT bushes fit as well?

Another question,
My gear knob feels a bit loosy, it has a lot of dead-gap when no gear is in and also a gap before you engage the gear.
I am close to a new clutch kit, is there any way to get rid of the knob feeling (any part to be changed with the clutch maybe)

Thanks!!

George
