Lamba Probe/Oxygen Sensor faulty?

Post by kraized »

Hello. My 'Engine Check' light is on, on my GTi 6N2 dash. I've got really bad performance with lots of juddering while under acceleration and when idle. After a bit of Googling and what not I suspect this is a problem with the Lambda Sensor. Is this more or less what the problem could be or is it something more serious like the CatCon (which I'm hoping it isn't)?

Could be a massive number of things.... get it plugged into Vag-Com and find out exactly what the issue is

Yeah, as tegwin said it could be a number of things.. Get someone local with VAG-COM to plug it into your Polo.

However, I currently have the exact same problemabd my VAG-COM results are showing that there's a fault with the lambda - It's probably just the connections or something, I'm hoping.
