hi guys been a member for a while but i havent been on here in ages, iv uploaded a few pics of how my polo 6n2 looks at the moment.. i am thinking of changing the seats to some recaros, which ones would fit and look better ? like for example ive seen a set of s3 front and rear seats on ebay, will they be ideal? and also i want to get the heated seat feature which my polo does not have from the factory.
went from this
to this
then to this
Ive done a few bits since ive had the car which are k+n air filter, colies, back box and fitted my sounds
The seats that fit straight in are Mk3 Golf Seats, be it Golf GTI, VR6 or similar. Anything else will require you to use the subframe off the old front polo seats, and the rear bench, well, that will take alot of creative thinking to get it to fit.
Nice car you have there, its nice to see a 5 door too.
Mine has the OEM Leather Heated seats which are nice but I very rarely use the heated option. Not only does it drain fuel and power but it burns your ass lol
I agree with Tim look for some Ibiza FR/Cupra Seats (MK3) or get yours re-trimmed.

I love my heated leather seats. Cant say it uses much fuel whatsoever...just a bit more power coming out of the alternator, and its never burnt me haha!
Thanks guys, Yeah ive got plans for this car but nothing major, just the little things to make it look abit more smart. Im planning to get the bumpers smoothed and maybe go for a black vinyl for the roof as my roof has loads of scratches where you can see the metal. Also im goin to get a full exhaust system made for it. But first things first im going my steering back to the way it should be, cars got a mind of its own when im driving so im going to replace the bushes, track rods and get a strut brace.
Just a quick update but no pics, good news is ive changed the ball joints, track rods and arms, but the bas news is i need a gearbox as mine has had it, gears are starting to crunch and its getting louder. wheres the best place to get one? im located in essex/ east london
