need some lower profile tyres on the standard gti alloys, i think standard they are suppose to come bith 195/45's, just wondering what i could go down to.
i dont want silly stretch or anything just normal but with a lower profile

Anything lower than a 195/45 will put your speedo out and will increase your engine revs at the equivalent speed. The only option you have is to go for like a 175/50 or something like that, but then youll create stretch and traction will be reduced.

i thought that ppl who have lowered there gti on standard alloys would have changed the profile of theirs tyres. thats all i was asking

theres no need. 45 is plentifully sleek enough on 15x6 wheels.
