Serious Issues With GTi

Post by cj_sat69 »

Hi guys ive got some serious issues with my car at the moment, at first it kept overheating so i had the fan switch, thermo and engine temp switch changed an i think thats sorted the problem, but now i think thers a electric fault, all the lights on the dash are on and the handbrake and oil lights are flashing, the millage does not show and when i rev the car the needle does not work. all the fuses and relays have been checked

can any1 shed any light on this

thanks

Sounds like an earthing problem on the clocks - check your earth on your battery. Seeing as its all happening at once, it definately would be wise to point to earth as this will cause all hell of problems. Do you have anyone near you with vagcom or one yourself?
