I think it's due to a valve next to the heater matrix - mine did this a while ago, and I swapped the valve over and it's been fine ever since.

Mine does it too. I didn't think it was a problem. I have windows on my car, and they roll down using this crank type thing. Once down, they allow a cool flow of air into the car, relative to my speed. :P

my air conditioning works just like that too! Both our cars must have the same optional extras!

Ha Ha Ha !!!
Well I'm sure it is a problem, surely we dont need hot air coming out constantly? Is nice in winter, but not now its gettin warmer. Will try swapping the vavlves round then, c if that works :)

Andy is right, it's the valve in the heater matrix sticking on. If you swap it over or try and bleed it, you should get cold air when needed. Mine never has a problem giving cool air.
Sunroofs are great in summer, but models witout them have more head room which is useful.

I imagine cos of all the runner and stuff the headlining will be lower... still, I'd love to sacrifice some headroom for a sunroof..

On the factory fit sliding steel sunroofs the headlining is lower due to the assembly. The aftermarket see through tilting ones dont.

How much headroom do you lose though... I've only got about an inch and a half spare when sitting in the driver's seat  (now you know why Jeremy Clarkson doesn't drive a G40)

I have wind down windows as well ... they're a bit crap if you're stuck in traffic and the wind aint blowing the right way though. Plus they only the front ones open which tends to p1ss the rear passengers off a little!

bugger the rear passengers the only comfort they have is those handles to hold onto!
