Pressed plates.

What's the deal with pressed plates?

Can you get fully legal UK one's or are they all technically "for show use"?

Cheers.

You can get fully legal pressed plates yes dude.As with any official number plate supplier you would have to supply them with 1 peice of identity for both yourself and your car.Best thing to do is take your drivers license and V5 to a show (if you go to any) as most shows have somebody making them and it saves posting away important documents. The main two places that do them are:

http://www.europl8.net/

http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/

Theres quite a few people that have had problems with dubmeister around my area (Wrong plate surrounds sent, documents sent back to wrong addresses),fortunately i bought mine from Europl8 at a show this year and they were spot on would definately reccomend them to you.

Hope this helps

Bradders knows his stuff!

If I were to ever to get pressed plates, I'd definately get them from a show, rather than faff on with sending documents away.
