Was wondering if its just mine, but what does you guys horn's sound like?!!

Mine is stupidly camp, don't ever use it anymore...

HAHA mine is exactley the same mate.. people see my black, mean looking gti.. then i use the horn and they all laugh lol

Lol most peoples Dual Tone horn have one of them fail, so its just a meep sound lol

It should have a nice pricey sound to it if working properly!

Perhaps some people could record their horn sounds so we have an idea of what it should sound like and how it sounds when it's all gone wrong?

My Horn seems Ok to be honest so not all Black GTI's have wimpy horns lol

To be honest though I only use it rarely, normally if somebody cuts me up its window down and head out the window (Victor Meldrew esq)

Yeh mines a pretty burly horn too to be honest,infact it makes the GTI look alittle sheepish haha.

lol the horn in my old Blue SE was nice and deep
but the one in my silver GTi is quite high pitched (for a horn) he deffinatly needs a deeper more manly one

One of the two horns have a habit of failing. I have replaced one of mine with a Golf item and it's now out of tune!

I wanna get a new horn. My boyfriend has just put one on his G. is really loud and agressive.
i might try and catch him on a good day and when hes bord and see if he'll fit one for me lol.
tho i think it might be a bit more difficult in the GTi
