sorted out some 15" wheels identical to the 14" I previously had...so at least the car looks a little fatter from the back hehe (pics soon). I also got it de-wipered, white licence plate bulbs and a push start switch is on its way

next I wish to remove or spray the Polo badge black . is it held with clips or glue or something like that?? will also get a black rear vw badge

actually I really like the rear lights hehe ... if I didn't break the rear VW badge I would have sprayed that black as well and save the 20quid that it would cost me

heh tell me about it!! but everything is coming against me ... it is scraping at standard height with 2 at the back, the ride is already somewhat too harsh for me especially when I changed the alloy wheels to 15" and I am really low an funds ... maybe this summer will see some progress on the lowering!!

I am currently doing some maintenance on the upholstery because it is coming of the door cards because of the severe heat here in malta!!and a service to change the timing belt is up soon because it has got cracks in it!! I wish to do the debadged grill next but to fix the notch will cost a little so for now I am taking a break so to get my funds back on foot hehe  any more ideas from you guys? apart from lowering

for the badgless grill u get an insert with most of them that u can spray yellow or leave as is

and i think u should get some deep dish black steelies with stretched tyres will look the bomb
as with my polo theres so much you want to do to them but its just impossible to do it all at once lol

quick question was it easy to dewiper

yeah but I find it cheap with the insert, I would want it professional done!

I actually really wanted banded steels but I do not think they exist here in malta and to import them they cost loads!! and non banded once look too thin!!

not much of a hassle to dewiper ... remove the door cover, undo the nut holding the wiper blade and the one underneath the blade and then the 3 or 4 nuts holding the wiper motor from inside. do not forget to remove the wires and the water pipe and blank it so not to spill water in the door. It took me about 5-10 minutes

ahh tks mate ... will see if I can source some locally first, will do some research hehe . but they sort of look ridiculous on rides that are not lowered so first I have to wait until I lower it hehe

Why don't you spray that 3rd brake light mate, tint it black like your rear lights, would suit the car much more. Mines done and it looks so much better.
