is it easy to take the gearbox out?
I am looking at getting the gearbox out and was wondering if it was an easy job?

Hmmm, relativley, two main brackets holding it in place, Although i took the engine and gb out together and seperated them that way...

Can be done in a couple of hours...
Disconnect both driveshafts... disconnect gear linkage and rear engine stabalizer mounts (there are 2 of them!!)
Undo the engine - gearbox mounting bolts... there are quite a few... remove starter motor....
I find it easier to undo both engine mounts and lower the engine about 3 inches, then lower the gearbox end down to clear the chassis leg and pull the box out... Its ok if you take your time about it... getting it back in is the reverse.... but harder!
