my boot lid doesn't shut flush
it closes but looks like its open when its closed please help .can it be adjusted or anything cheers. oh and my hooter stopped working .its a red x reg gti 80000 miles very clean all oem at the mo bought it last week very happy

Have you checked the boot catch mate? It might need some grease.
I had a similar problem with mine, it was closing but it didn’t look right despite feeling tight when shut. It will probably throw up the boot open light if that is the case. My catch was sticking so I re-greased it and it worked a treat, the mechanism can sometimes get a little stiff so best to try that first.
