Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
You should get ones with a warranty.
Also check to see if they're suitable for your car, as I've bought some in the past (they were listed to fit a beetle) and they didn't fit.

Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
Cars back from the bodyshop, so took some new pictures.
Had the front bumper resprayed and splitter colour coded to match.

Rear bumper resprayed, removed the gti badge and changed the rear badge.

New stubby mirror and resprayed bonnet.

Replaced the old aerial surround.

Had some paint left over so resprayed the tweeter covers.

A few more pictures, with a couple of my mates T4....

And after the mix up got my new number plates, will put them on tomorrow.

Looks really good mate
I agree with Tim it will look even better with the rear badge insert being black.
Colour coded splitter looks quality

Thanks guys, i only colour coded the splitter because it was scratched to s**t, doubt it'll stay looking that good for to long!!
Car's now off the road again! Getting the bbs' split and spraying the inner bit a different colour. Should be back on the road by next weekend!!

Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
I really like the black tweeter covers, think they look awesome, especially on a black car.

Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
I had my Splitter colour coded just over a year ago and they do take a bit of beating to be fair.
Mine could do with respraying due to a few stone chips and scuff marks from the car being too low.
How come you havent got the lower honeycombe grill on your GTI? I pressume its been replaced at some point

Very tidy mate!
Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
I do don't I?! I think its just faded a bit, in need of some back to black i think! Might sound incredibly random, but instead of using back to black you can use smooth peanut butter on your plastics, comes up lovely, plus it smells nice6N2 GTI 00 wrote:I had my Splitter colour coded just over a year ago and they do take a bit of beating to be fair.

Re: Godderz23 Polo GTi
Yeah mate you can get them from VW as stated above.
There was a guy selling them on ebay too but I think he's sold out at the moment.
It shouldnt cost you anymore than £20-25
