Best place to source a 1.4 MkVI polo?

Hey guys,
I posted before about what mods to do to my car, and all the answers were brilliant, definitely gave me some food for thought...
next problem now,
Where can I actually GET a car from I've had a look on auto-trader but I was just wondering if you guys know anywhere better to get
it from?
I want a 1.4 preferably, as I will be doing a bit of motorway driving and would just like that extra power over the 1.2, annnddd I REALLLLY love the metallic blue but I guess I can not have a blue one...

my budget is around £2,500 for the car

Aye, autotrader and pistonheads are both pretty good. Local classifieds also sometimes turn up good deals.

Suppose you could try car auctions or places like eBay as well - I know of people who have gotten great deals off them but it seems to be a bit of a risk unless you know someone who's really good with the spanners. Always go and check a car out before you buy and be prepared to haggle/walk away if necessary, there's plenty of cars out there.

Cool thanks guys This will be my first car so I am a bit new to this! I know I need to check mileage, MOT, tax, service history etc, but is there any questions you would ask when buying a car?

I found a few potential cars, I'm stuck between that place of not wanting to rush in to buying a car, and really really wanting to get driving! It's tough!
Auto trader seems to have a few, Piston heads had one or two that were snapped up in a day or too unfortunately

ahh well, I'll keep on hunting every day! It's just making me more passionate about the car lol!
