muck trapped behind front wheelarch liners
I've just taken the O/S front wheelarch liner off to replace the auxiliary belt and was quite ammazed to find just how much muck gets trapped in there - mainly at the base of the door pillar. I'd removed the two side covers in the past (one to disconnect the S2 lambda probe) and found a lot of trapped muck in there. Just thought that I'd warn you as getting rid of this must improve the chances of survival against the old enemy - RUST!

Re: muck trapped behind front wheelarch liners
I noticed last month that my front OS wheel arch shows a tiny bit of paint bubbling. I always keep on top of washing the car, and this happened randomly over the space of a month maybe (53 reg). Hope they live up to there 12 year corrosion guarantee...
