remap...

Post by Dub_Dan »

hi guys and girls iv probably posted this topic more than once but i definately want the reassurance iv currently got a pd100 iv been wanting to get a gt tdi for a few weeks now ill be 19 next month i drove a bora pd 130 today and it felts so much smoother and quicker than my polo even though my car is lighter due to its size would anyone be able to tell me whether there would be a big difference between a mapped 100 and a mapped 130 so it would be roughly 140-145 against 170-175...
any opinions would be greatly appreciated thanks again
danny.

remaping a pd100 you ll eat anything stock. its pretty quick if youve never had a mapped car. pd140 pd170 tdi's id had when my pd 100 was mapped.

now when we mapped the pd130 Ibiza Fr (polo GT's brother) it felt like there was an evo under the bonnet  u aint catching that in a pd100mapped

now stop being a girl and hurryup and make up ur mind. if its not much hastle for you to get a pd130 then buy that if thats a harder option map the pd100. a stock pd130 and ur mapped pd100 are almost identical in the power they output on the road (tried with our Fr), but there will be a difference in how it outputs the power.

Do what I did....
I fitted a fmic, 63mm turboback, pd160 intake and a pd160 TURBO.....Mine is mapped perfectly now and am quicker than my mates mapped pd130. He got 115kw I got 125kw out of a pd100!

I have a mapped' PD100

raced my dad in my mums GT TDI 170 golf. beat me. JUST! the extra power and 6 speed made the difference.

all I'll say is.

Dont bother......

just buy the GT TDI Polo, map it. and you'll eat clio 182's.....
