I am likely to replace my 1998 Polo 1.6 with a '57' 2007 1.4 model.
The 1998 one has air conditioning which used to work better than it does now despite £250 replacement of an expansion valve last year. However the new one's specification states 'automatic air conditioning'. I only see the usual A/C button ont he dashboard. Is the a/c control any different on these later models?
It doesn't have climatronic.

Re: Automatic Airconditioning
I think it's just a regular A/C button. I've not heard about this feature on any polo actually, not even on GTi's. So I think it's just a regular button below the setting dials.
And in my opinion, the air conditioning in the 9n3's work superbly!

Yup I did wodner if it was just teh standard a/c that was on the earlier Polos. certainly the controls look the sme, just restyled.
It was just that the spec listed it as 'automatic airconditioning' that made me wonder.
