Tdi pd 100 owners

Post by Dub_Dan »

What are you getting to a tank if I had a 50 mph 50 mile commute a day my car could reach In the 500's but when I'm on the motorway I don't seem to meet the factory mpg! I seem to be getting between 44-48 mpg but last week I got 51 an this week I cant touch it! This is between 70-80 mph
Is it everyone or just my polo?
Cheers

What wheels are you running?

80mph in mine will see 50mpg at most. 65mph sees 65mpg. Yours is about right - aerodynamics aren't great on the Polo

I can get 56mpg on me hybrid. (65) I do notice at 70 it drinks more as the turbo is just coming on boost and it wants more fuel to feed the extra air. Big tip keep off boost for mpg:)

Where do you fill up mate, you may have had a poor quality batch of fuel in your tank, that combined with the humid weather we have been having probabaly wouldn't of helped your mpg.

You have to put it in all the time otherwise it will run poor when you go back to the normal. If u get it mapped u should map it with v power in it
