Polo96CL's Progress Thread - SOLD SOLD SOLD :(
Re: Polo96CL's Progress Thread - Retrimmed headliner + more!
Defo doable, its very sticky and holds in place well. You'd need like £20 odd worths of the stuff though, as its cut to size. I'm wrapping the inner of my electric window switches when it arrives so should be good

Thats 3M dinoc vinyl isn't it? Looks like carbon fibre but isn't. I was gonna do my new splitter In it when I get time
Re: Polo96CL's Progress Thread - Retrimmed headliner + more!
That's it
great stuff and easy to work with, sticks like sh*t so holds. Been tested on concrete and wood so I can't imagine a splitter being a problem. Got my stuff from underground graphics who measure to size, mega quick delivery. Try it, best stuff I've used in a long while when it comes to vinyl

I'd love to do my splitter. reckon you could sort me out with some in the post dude if I send you dollar? I can't seem to find it on net.

Tim,

Measure the splitter giving about an inch or two around to give you something to hold onto when stretching it over the splitter. You shouldn't have any problem with it sticking. I've got a 5% off code somewhere i'll have a look for you

Re: Polo96CL's Progress Thread - BBS RXii Refurb...
Refurbing my other set of BBS RXii's, going for a polished lip and OEM centres I reckon. I have rounded off one of the bolts, does anyone know how to get it out and where I can get a replacement?
Re: Polo96CL's Progress Thread - Did Someone Say Carbon?
Got this out, so much for "Titanium" eh. Glad I didn't have to get an engineering firm to remove
Mole grips managed to extract the other half too

Titanium is a soft metal - the main reason they use it is because its light, offers good strength and doesn't corrode, but its nowhere near as strong has high tensile steel for example
