Got myself a mk5 polo, and the clocks don't seem to be working as in the rev counter and speedometer needles dont seem to move. Everything lights up the time and mileage is displayed but no movement on off the needles. I'm presuming it's just a loose wire or something, but problem is how do you remove them clocks out the dash?
Any help would be great
Cheers

Re: Mk5 Clock removal.
hey dude long time no speak. You need to remove the screw underneath the cowling, then pull the cowling towards you ie it slides forward from the windscreen towards the seat. Then there are 4 screws underneath that need removing, then you can get the clocks out.
Re: Mk5 Clock removal.
if everything works bar the rev and speedo i would say that would be the road speed sensor wouldnt it on the gearbox?

Took the clocks out, thinking it would be a loose wire, but it isnt.
