still got the original clocks though as it would've been to much hassle fitting gti clocks although it would've been cool
another car says i was doin about 130 so sounds bout right
strathclyde park is M &Ds aint it?
mines a white 1 with clear front and side lights. rear spoiler wit clear brake light and 15" fox racing alloys.
GTi transplant sounds good. how much did it cost u and where did u get it done?
not tonight, going round to my mates.
r u a mechanic?
how hard is it to do a transplant? what stuff is needed?
( im doing mechanical engineering just now, so im very interested)
for my conversion i needed the engine/box and ecu obviously also the drivers side engine mount , the pedal box and all pedals as the gti dosent have a throttle cable also had to make up a full wiring loom joining both the gti loom and my polo loom (hardest part) all other parts fit without any hassle at all.
p.s get the brakes as well as i crashed after about 2 weeks of the conversion cost me a fortune getting it fixed and painted
