Door Lock ? Help Please

Hi People, Recently I changed my door meaning the locks and barrels needed to be swapped. In the process my dad managed to snap the locking piece that is attached to the handle, the bit that looks like a flat screwdriver. Is it possible to replace this piece with one from another handle? I have picked up a handle from the scrappers but can’t seem to change the barrels

yes. You can get the part from the dealer for about 50p. Its called the lock paddle.

Briliant, but how do I attatch the new paddle to the lock ?

You have to very carefully slide the clip at the base of the paddle off, remove the old paddle whilst holding the bits underneath down as they are spring loaded, then fit the new paddle and refit the clip
