speed tends to be 70-80 mph tyres seem to be fine mate, im getting 48 ish mpg sometimes lower i dont whether its the fact my car is not remapped or not im not sure? anything mechanical that can be changed apart from the filters?

If you accelerate and decelerate a lot on the motorway at around 80mph I'd say 48mpg is fine. Check tyre pressure, what are your tyres? 48mpg isn't a worrying figure. I can get sub 50 if I drive it in a certain way on the motorway. Headwinds can easily bring it down to lower than 50.

Is your aircon on constantly? Maybe it needs recharging so you don't need it on as much? Aircon can reduce mpg by about 5.

to be honest mate i dont think its my driving as i try to be careful lol, spoke to someone else today regarding this and they said its an average through out the whole tank and not the drive i do on the motorway for 25 mins if i reset the tank on the motorway i get 52 at 75 mph so im hoping thats all it is i think 450 to a tank is good considering its only a 40 litre tank...
i used to be able to 550 if i tried to college and back on 50 mph roads so i think its just how it is?
