Respraying brake calipers

Post by Godderz23 »

Have been quoted £120 to respray all of my calipers as there looking very dated now, loads of paint flaking off.

Is that a fair price? Its to sandblast and spray. :|

Or shall i just spray them myself, or will it look total pants?!

As alex said dude.Get some high temperature paint,a few brushes, some sandpaper and you're ready to go.You'll get it done within a decent full day or so.It'll only cost you about £15 too.

I did mine and im abit of a fussy bugger but was quite pleased with how they turned out.

Done my mates a couple years back - wire brush them down then hammerite smooth paint!
Thinking of doing mine as they're a bit faded too but not sure if the hammerite red paint will make them look tacky (too bright or something)
