Feeler polo 6n2 Se silver

Post by Joe_Mk5 »

Hi guys, its looking like i might be selling the polo soon so just gauging interest
My only reason for selling is i'm a year older and insurance is looking kindly on a golf tdi.

Onto the car!
its a 1.4 8v 6n2 in silver built in 2000 with 88,000 but will rise slightly as it is used daily.
I've owned the car for just over 2 years now and it has been a pleasure.

During owning the car i have had the following work done:

reconditioned gearbox just over 1 year ago due to bearing breaking (common problem)
New clutch (just over a year ago)
New alternator (previous owner sold it to me with this broken!)
New battery
New thermostat and housing due to stuck thermostat.
New wheel bearing.
New HT leads
New Spark plugs

I have upgraded the following components
TA technix coilovers
GTI grill
BBS alloy wheels (unsure of model)
De wipered

Bad bits
With any 10 year old car there are some imperfections.
There is damage to the passenger side sill which was done by the previous owner. This really does not bother me but have been quoted £100 to have this fixed. i can take pictures on request.
The odd stone chip here and there ,which i think is to be expected. There is also a slight scratches to the front bumper passenger side. This happened by myself mis judging a parking space and scraping the side of a wall. Hardly noticeable though

Ive tried to be as honest as possible. The car is running perfectly and has had a lot of money and time put into it. It will be a real shame to see the car go but after 2 years i feel it is now time for a change. I am asking £2300 as the car stands standard suspension etc included or £2000 put back to standard. - heres a link to some more photos http://www.uk-polos.net/view ... 13&t=44377
If you have any questions please pm me =] thanks alot, Joe
