Headlight indicator "moss"

Picture isn't great but when cleaining it last week i noticed a slight build up of some green crap (technical i know!) starting to build up on the inside of my front indicators!



Anyway of removing this or is it just easier to change the whole unit?

I had that on mine dude but in my case the lense was also slightly cracked so I ended up changing the whole unit.
I have replace both sides in the last 12 months, 1 due to it being cracked plus the dirt build up and I broke the other one when fitting my 6000K bulbs.

They are £27.00 each from VW, I think that included VAT too.

You could try taking them out and have a go at cleaning the inside but that could be pretty difficult.

Its not the inside its the seal around the outside. Remove and clean with a toothbrush around the outside lip

Me too!! It just makes the front end look messy!
