You will have to buy a whole new badge really mate, they are about £12-14 from Volkswagen.

There are always plenty for sale on Ebay too. Just type in Polo GTI rear badge, Lupo's also share the same GTI badge.

Yeah they look a lot fresher with a set of new badges, the "I" always tends to fade in the sun both on the front and rear.

I bought some "blood red" sticky back plastic from eBay, cut it to size and stuck it on. Looks excellent

I just peeled the original tape off the I, then used some red detailing tape (the stuff I use for my grill trim) to make a new one, looks magic!
