thats why i think Jack will get bord lol. he loves the feeling of speed. i wonder if hell get bord not feel the force sort of thing.
but i want him to get one cose i love the interior it looks sooo comfy and i love the tv lol

thats kindda like what he keeps saying to me. the G isnt a daily. its fun as hell. but he cant go on the motor way without going deff.
and in the wet it pretty much spins in every gear. he wants to store it at mine and get it out once in a while
MrP wrote: I was ever so tempted to sell it and buy a MK2 GTi 16v.. But with all I have spent on it and have so many plans it'd be silly of me.
you'd probably miss it if you sold it specially with like you said the plans you have. you want to get them done. i still miss my onle SE cose i had so much i wanted to do to her.
and its hard when youve spent so much money on a car. because you can spend near £1000s and never get your money back sort of thing. the best thing is to enjoy it for as long as possible :D

however my boyfriend and his mate have a golf gti for sale if u ever change your mind ;)
Well, tell him to keep the g40 as a weekedn toy ad get a 330d or similar, that way you get the best of both worlds!! They are rapid too!

Thanks for the offer on the GTi, but if I was doing it I would want a 90's spec, 3 door, 16v in royal blue metallic.. Always wanted that spec!

Some pics, day and night....

The fog lights aren't as bright as the originals, but bring the car into the modern age, they are more like daytime running lights if anything... Think I'm going to get some xenon's for the fog lights at some point..

Ebay... A company called autoperformanceonline

I do NOT recommend using them though. I paid double delivery (1 delivery for the foglights, 1 for the numberplate bulbs), should have arrived in 5 days, after a week I was contacted saying that the foglights weren't in stock and will take a month but the numberplate bulbs were in stock.. So I requested a refund. They then said they can get the foglights quicker and I would get them in a few days.. I said ok... Another week passed so I asked for another refund as they were obviously taking the p***. No reply, I then asked for another refund and also why they hadn't yet sent out the numberplate bulbs as they were in stock and I had paid for separate delivery. They then said the foglights will be in stock the next few days and ignored my question about the numberplate bulbs and refund. I then asked for a refund again as I was pissed off by this point only for the items to arrive a few days later. Mother f*****s! They also sent the bulbs in a jiffy bag without any other protection, just 6 loose bulbs in a jiffy bag through the post.. WTF!!

Likely, its crap.

Bought some "hard as nails" foam tape off ebay, paid about £2 more than most other sets as it said it was so good.

It came and it was terrible, held absolutly nothing, so left poor feedback, got a well b***h message back from the seller saying "thanks for not messaging me and letting me sort it out".

If you don't want bad feedback, dont sell utter s**t to people.

It's true!! But Ebay is so good for s**t little things like this you can't buy elsewhere without hassle.. I really hate Ebay though. If Ebay was a person I would punch it in it's big fat head

Nice update dude, they look very nice at night.
I uprated my fogs in April but they look crap compared to yours, they were supposed to be Blue "Xenon" style H7 bulbs but they just look white/yellowy!
Might have to invest in the same set as yours, ill avoid the same ebayer though he sounds like a right bellend
