I think I got some of our cars lol!
Dreadful journey mate! Got stuck in traffic and diversions and road closures for 2 hours! Took almost 5 hours to get home instead of 2.5

95k oil change done today
Its going off the road at the start of next week - just needs a final wash then ill tuck it up for winter.
Next job on the list is to take the calipers off, fully clean them, then give them a nice fresh coat of bright red caliper paint!

Re: The GTI! - Alex's Progress Thread - Cruise control fitte
Well....some possibly interesting news
I *may* be looking to get a new car in the next few weeks as I feel if I don't get the car I want soon, ill miss the opportunity...granted alot hangs in the balance of a few important factors but its a strong possibility.
The GTI won't be sold (at the moment at least) for a few reasons. The main being at present there are too many for sale, and they aren't selling. The second being I have invested a huge amount of time and money getting the car just how I want it and I wouldn't want to see it go to someone who wouldn't appreciate or care for it like I have.
Its gone from a very high spec GTI, to now being probably one of the, if not the highest OEM spec GTI in the country with all the OEM extras fitted apart from the original VW MFD sat nav!
No really - it is
To name a few of the main ones: Full heated leather, sunroof, rain sensor wipers, auto dimming mirror - Theres over £2500 worth of extras there alone!
But anyhow, watch this space as ill have an update sometime soon.
If you are strongly interested in purchasing it, PM me as we can discuss the details.
