Throttle Body replacement...

Post by KPerryGTi »

Hey guys...

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a bigger throttle body that is easy to swap onto the GTi engine?

Its not an easy job really because you have to take the fueling into consideration.
Jenvey throttle bodies are normally recommened for both the Polo & Lupo GTI engines

Plus there would be little gain due to the engine design in this case

Very true, its only worth doing if your thinking of seriously modifying your engine, ie Camshats, Pistons, Conrods, Cranshaft, etc

If your looking for a little more power then get the ECU re-mapped

Don't mess around with the original either. I was quoted well over £800 for a VAG replacement!
