anywhoo...

films from here - http://www.premierpaintguard.co.uk/pain ... m_diy.html
I got the 200mm x 600mm Sheet for £16, which was just the right size for the 2 headlights.

Ill deff get the paintwork done when i get my bumpers resprayed (how ever i will be getting that done professionally, the headlights were nice and easy for me, i dont think i would be any good at anything else lol)

Hey guys, a few suggestions needed.

as I mentioned before my passenger side side repeater would let water into it.
So i brought brand new ones off VW (got both sides for the sake of it)
all was good except now started misting up again, and yet again its the passenger side one.
i thought maybe it was faulty and wasnt sealed properly but looking at it all is fine.
so before fidderling with it i swapped the two over, and still the left one is misting up
(so its not the plastic light fitting)
which really only leaves the fitting bit that holds the bulb.
looking at it i cant see any damage at all. and it fits nice and snug into the light.
Any suggestions of what i can do? is siliconing around the light fitting into the plastic bit a bit of a dodgey thing to do?

Its not due to any of that. Its due to the secondary washer tank located in the wing for the headlight washers. It has a breather opening at the top back end of it, which is above the indicator on the wing - you need to put a hose onto it so it drains lower into the arch rather than going down the wing into the light.

09.11.10 - Headrests

So back at the begining of this thread I mentioned wanting to try some of the headrests from the newer VWs.
Before diving right in and buying some it made sence to try some out first.
these are out of a Golf. obviously they would need a different material to match my interior (the colours pretty good but the fabric is different. and in need of the red stitching)
I still dont know if i like it or not. but least i've got some photos so i can keep thinking about it
what do u guys think?

(ps sorry for the poor picture quality it was late at night and i dont have the greatest camera in the world, my seats look really stained and horrible but i promise its justthe light)
