Changed the car today...

Post by RayD »

Sold my son’s 2001 1.0E and bought a Black 2007 1.2S today ... advertised as a 1.2SE :? ... It does however have air conditioning, alloys, front fogs and non-remote central locking.

Q.1
Should there be anything with the keys ... I thought there might have been some immobiliser item but this has come with just the two plain keys. (not the flick variety)

Thanks

Ray

They come with normal keys unless its got remote central locking

The immobiliser is fitted into the car, and there is a little transponder chip in each key which deactivates this on ignition.

Yeah, there'll be a chip in the key I believe, even if it's just a standard key
