Honestly...... I didn't like those wheels when you were doing the teaser shots..... But they look a different wheel now you have fitted them and that looks superb. Looks really tough :-)

Thanks for proving me wrong lol ;)

Keep it up!

Alex.

Hey Alex,

Thanks, appreciate the comments. I'm glad that what I envisaged as the final product, did indeed work out. Glad you like them. :D

Thanks Turbomier. I'm loving them more and more as I get used to seeing them on the car. For ages I ran with the stock BBS splits, with spacers, to give a better OEM look, but I'm really really happy I got around to doing the OZ's. :D

Hey Beijing Polo,

Thanks for the comments. 8) I'm hoping to finish off "the look" over the next couple months, and from there on start getting the mechanical side of things done.

Ciao, Matteo. :D

I thought I'd post up some test fitment photo's of the OZ's on the front right side. I was trying to get an idea of the clearances and whether it was necessary to run a 205/40 or not.

This small update is incredibly long overdue.

I've been meaning to get these cut for months. I've almost finished with the OZ's, last things to do are to apply the last of the OEM stickers and to paint the wheel bolts black.

After that, it's time for something that's taken over a year to get around to doing, and finally, it should be arriving in January 2011 - I hope.

Really really nice mate!

I was thinking of getting one set of those OZ's to my 9n, now i'm convinced, they suit very well this basis! 8)

7.5j on 205/40?

Cheers

Thank you BennoGTi. That's the look I wanted - something that was subtle, but not murdered, but could also pop if looked at in a different way. If that makes sense.

Ciao, Matteo.
