Steering wheel change - Scirocco

Hi guys,

will a new Scirocco steering wheel fit a 02 9N? or do they have different connections for the airbag, if have you guys replaced your wheel with?

It'll fit, as long as you have an airbag that fits the 3 spoke Scirocco wheel. The connector themselves are identical.

I've done this and fitted it but the wiring connectors wouldn't fit so right now im rolling with no horn (MOT fail) and no airbag, you know of any resolution for this?

I had the samething happen on my BMW. What I did was dump the airbag and fit a 3ohm resistor (not sure if its different on the polo) and wire up a button on the dash for the horn instead. Bloody alot of hassle wouldnt want to do it again.

aw don't fancy that. There must be some way to wire it in. Other than that the old one is going back in.
