Get genuine oil for one - you need 3 bottles about about £5ish each

then if your doing it yourself you need a drain plug key

or a garage - half hour labour MAX

Harrogate in North Yorkshire fella.

The local VW dealer wants £165!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (they MUST have misunderstood my question surely!!!)

Jesus!!!

No joke, I could do it for you in 30 Mins using a poor mans tool kit, it's really easy!

£17.06 for 3 litres of VW gearbox oil is what it cost me a few months ago.

Have a go yourself? If I was still in Leeds I would have given you a helping hand for a pack of flaming hot monster much and a blowie :wink:

Reckon I could do it with a jack or would I need axle stands?

I can't work out if I'm happy or not that you're no longer in Leeds!
