Check the wiring going to the precat lambda - i got these faults, and it ended up being damaged wiring and broken wiring on the connector near the manifold

As for the temp sensor, just replace the green temp sensor on the thermostat housing and that error will go away.

Changed the coolant sensor.. All errors have gone!!

I did repair the wiring (well, solder a new connection on) not too long ago., it was my first check so it's all fine... Could it not have been over fuelling due to the coolant sensor?

I cleared all the codes and nothing has come back in about 50 miles.. although it still seems a little thirsty?

Anyone know what that central conv. Thing is?

Central convenience controls the windows, central locking and alarm and a few other bits

Did you use the gold repair wires? The silver ones arent up to the job on lambda connections.

Ah good :)

Didn't use the gold repair wires, I used a spare section/clip I had from an mates spare gti loom.. It's a good repair though and is still intact.

The car is still over fuelling and throwing up the Error of fuel system too rich on bank one.. The lambda fault however has gone...

Any ideas why it's still over fuelling?

Anyone?

Even if its how to diagnose the Lambda/fuelling using VAGCOM would be helpful... Like the optimal reading etc..
