im guessing u mean the 4 digit code (least i think its 4) that u put it to get it to stop saying this-




Is it the original radio that came out of your car personally, or the same one from another car?

easiest thing to do is phone VW im not sure what data they are supplied with thru the chassis or Reg plate but they might be able to tell you thru that, or thru the attual code printed on the radio its self (specially this case if it is from another car). as each code is personal to the radio (at least to some degree as far as im aware) as ive done some radio swapping between my polos as the radio in one burned out. and i wrote the new code for the next owner in the manual for future reference.

I found the code in my service book 1787 BUT it went in to safe mode last night and then this morning it was ok. I did remove it to fit my other headset but gave up has I have the flu and was getting angry!
