Hows the camera work coming along Tim?.

Long live the Polo GTI.
Indeed!

Really good thanks mate, thanks for asking.

It's been a bit of a headache working out my transport situation. I was set on selling the Polo for a Fabia vRS, as it would be cheaper to run and insure. But I know it wouldn't be much of a workhorse, and before long I'd be in the same situation with my Polo. So am possibly looking at getting a caddy now (6N shape). Just gotta work out whether I can afford to run both that and the Polo.

See what you mean dude, what made you want a caddy just for the storage/transport capabilities?.The did a scoda model too in that shape didn't they?.Have you made any new video's recently?.

Abit of a strange update for me this time around. The sunday there was a Rolling road day at AMD organised by my local VAG club.I was heading up to spectate but in the end after being persuaded by a few friends and curiousity kicking in i ended up putting my little Polo on.Well it did spot on to be fair to it came out at 125.6 BHP and 120.9 lbft torque

Overall can't grumble with that so quite chuffed.

Thats really impressive dude, especially your torque figure.
I think the standard figures were 152Nm which equates to 112lbft of Torque :)

I would be happy with those figures :)

Yeh im pretty chuffed it's running spot on what it should be so can't grumble.Looking at the graph closer the test terminates at 6000 RPM but reading the results table it was at 127.4 at 6151rpm.

The torque was quite level all through the rev range peaked at 120lb/ft or 163.8NM and probably dropped around 113lb/ft.

Ill have to try and get the graph up some how.The guy on here with the GTI engine in his 6N is running about 148bhp they were saying and our club is getting a write up in golf plus febuary issue as a photographer came down to see us,here lupo was running 142 with an exhaust, map and induction kit.

Yeah its exciting to see good results like that, especially for a 10 year old car.
Yours is a better example than most people's GTi's because its clearly been well looked after and has really low mileage which is great :D

Mine feels very responsive so I would hope it would be close to 125bhp still :)

Have you got a scanner bradley? you could post your results that way if you did.

I imagine yours may be alittle over with the mods you have Ben.Im glad it's got the minerals 10 years down the line,it definately makes you want to stick a charger on it and get some decent results though.I think the parents have somewhere so may see what i can do dude.Shame we cant get a club one going on there sometime would be a great day out.

Yeah it would be nice for us to all have a meet up on a Rolling Road Day.
I know Awesome GTI do good group meets but Manchester is a long way to travel for a lot of people.

Hopefully next year we can all get together at a meet or show :)

After the 130 mile round trip to AMD my car got covered in crap from the previous snowy roads that had then turned into slush. So with a couple of days off work i gave it a quick wash,no wax or anything just a wash thought it came out well considering the state it was in.

Ive also opted to give a rear Sharon MK2 badge a go.So far i think it's a grower, definately makes you realise how ridiculously big the origional one is for the car. Also sits in the hidden reccess spot on.I was going to get the insert colour coded but decided to keep it pure OE for the moment.

Looks great as usual Brad :) I'm kind of hoping to turn my car in to a black version of yours! Very OEM! How low do you have it at the front and rear? I'm still in my dilemma!
