2010 Polo SE

Post by tkitmike »

Hi All,

After just under 4 months wait, my new 1.4 Polo SE arrived.

I think its fantastic and in comparison to my previous car (1.1 Citroen C2) it's a lot more stable, smooth, and quieter.

I had a few extras, including the winter pack (Heated seats), convenience pack (auto-wipers/auto-dimming mirror) and upgraded the steering wheel to the leather one.

One thing I wish I had done, was upgraded the computer, mainly because it doesn't tell you your MPG or number of miles left in the tank, but I didn't realise that at the time.

It's a lovely car and with the new shaped front, I think it looks pretty sporty. I'm certainly going to get some mud-flaps fitted shortly, to help avoid stones flicking up.

What colour did you choose? Was it the manual or DSG box? The new Polo sounds quite good.

Hope you put some pictures up soon!

I decided to go for Flash Red, it was either that or Candy White. I personally don't think it looks as good in Silver and I certainly don't like the grey colour.

Here is a photo :-)

Think the Polo looks best in red TBH. Good choice.

I've got the 1.2SE TDI at the moment as a courtesy car and really like it.

I agree with you totally about the computer. Seems a bit pointless if all it tells you is the speed in km/h and next service. Would have like to have seen MPG etc.

Other than that, the 75bhp engine has got a nice bit of poke for motorway etc.

Mike :)
