my polo gt today lost all boost today :evil: , there was no smoke or no noticable noise coming from the engine/turbo, i switched the engine off and on and all was well again
anyone expereinced similar?

limp mode, the cause could be a few things, it will have logged a fault in the ecu so if you know anyone local with VCDS (vagcom) have it scanned

when mine did that it was split vacuum pipes

i remember when that happend to me 2 3 years ago on my first disel, i S^%£ my pants thinking i blew the engine lol. its limp mode a basic safety feature if one of the vehicles values is too high etc. it ll log a error get it read and find out what it is, usually just a loose pipe

hmm think a mate has that at home al ask when i get back from sea cant be bothered with it for now and its been fine since altho i did take my air filter out today found full of s**t like haha mabe the MAF sensed it wasnt gettin enough air
