What exactly are the symptons of a faulty steering rack. i have been told the following:
* wondering on the road
* car will pull either left or right
* steering has play in neautral position. i guess when wheels straight etc etc
* knocking coming from front of car
* hard to steer (even to power steering)
* woble over bumps
only reason i asking is at the moment i am having hell on trying to find out what wrong with my steering. always pulls to left,go over bumps its as if the wheeels move them selves then you feel it throught wheel. sometimes can be quite heavy. had it 4wheel aligned by a friend who said it was very bady out. but seems to be all ballsed up again. some of the symptons above are what i got.
