41K is very low mileage too so you should be happy with that. As Alex said get the GTI badge back on there

iv no plans for it really i want to keep the whole car oem because its so clean,

the previous owner took the badges off from new he worked as service manager
in a dealer so its been well looked after i got it a year ago at 36k serviced it when
i got it inc. full belt kit and w/p and gear oil change and again about 600miles ago,
just put discs and pads all round on it sunday gone everything gone into its been
oem with the same oil he always put into it so i look after it pretty well and will
continue to do so as i will probably never sell it.

My I make 1 suggestion...........An engine clean! A good scrub.

I done mine in Nov and it still shines!
